We have an exciting venture to announce. Routes Gallery in Harris, Saskatchewan, will be hosting it's first ever Artists' Retreat! The idea came about during a recent community-building workshop whereas a group of people conferred to address an initiative regarding the arts in their region. The result of the discussion? To establish a multidisciplinary artist’s retreat with the intent to show creative people of various disciplines that the region of Harris is a great place to create, but also to promote arts education and creative collaboration. WHEN? August 3-6, 2010 (Tues-Fri) FEE? $150 (food and lodging included) We are looking to attract emerging to established artists to participate. That could be YOU! The disciplines we will focus on are: PAINTING (Plein Air), SCULPTURE, MUSIC, SONGWRITING, and DANCE. More information is to come in the following weeks, so stay tuned! And SAVE THE DATE!
